Open House Festival is a city-wide celebration of London's architecture, neighbourhoods and hidden spaces, inviting people to explore sites across all 33 boroughs free of charge.
Katie leads a riverside walk from Westminster to Bankside, exploring the unique character of London's bridges and the unexpected stories behind them, while bringing together art, engineering and public space to offer fresh perspectives on the city. Booking opens on Wed 19th August.
On Saturday 19th September, Katie will lead An Everyday History of London's Bridges with Heritage Open Days.
Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, held each September. This year's theme, Everyday Histories, explores daily working life through the ages.
Katie delves into the rich history of London's Thames crossings and their continuing role in shaping the capital. From Victorian engineering to modern city life, hear the stories behind the bridges that have connected communities across the Thames for generations. Booking opens on Wed 12th August.
